Welcome
We are a grassroots charity that was founded in 1991 by Lawrence and Kay Greenaway after they lost their daughter Pamela Greenaway-Kohlmeier to this devastating disease. From this beginning we have evolved into one of Canada’s leading breast cancer research funding originations, dedicated to raising funds for research across Canada to eradicate breast cancer. We believe that every dollar Canadian donate to research brings us one step closer to discovering the causes of breast cancer, better methods to prevent and detect it, treatments that are more effective and improving the quality of life for survivors.

Mission
“Inspired by one family's search for a cure, the Breast Cancer Society of Canada’s mission is to engage in grassroots fundraising that supports patient focused research for diagnosis, treatment and prevention.”
