History Six months before Pamela Greenaway-Kohlmeier died and left behind a husband and two young children, her friends and family founded the Breast Cancer Society of Canada. Lawrence and Kay Greenaway, Pam's parents, were a big part of the growth of the Society by putting in countless volunteer hours, sitting on numerous committees and raising funds nationally for breast cancer research. In 2004, after 13 years of their dedication and hard work, Lawrence and Kay retired, leaving behind a legacy that is now being carried forward by volunteers, staff and board members.
